Her expression is peaceful and free, eyes gently closed, a plumeria flower tucked behind her ear. She wears a beaded necklace and a draped sash cinched at the waist, her arms extended gracefully outward as if welcoming the ocean breeze. Behind her, a large fan-shaped shell form rises like a wing, adding dramatic dimension and movement to the composition.

What sets this piece apart is the extraordinary fluidity of the carving — her hair, her robes, and the curling waves at the base all flow together in one continuous, organic rhythm.
