Each one features a real butterfly wing in vivid electric blue and deep black, preserved in clear resin with the full natural wing shape intact — including the dramatic swallowtail point at the base. Topped with a faceted smoky crystal set in a gold-tone bezel that complements the dark tones of the wing perfectly.
The butterfly wings are ethically sourced from butterflies that died naturally — nothing was harmed in the making of these pieces. The blue is completely natural — no dye, no paint — just the wing exactly as it was. The color is intense and shifts between cobalt, cerulean, and deep midnight depending on the light and angle.
