These one-of-a-kind earrings are handmade on Maui by artist Marley Marina. Each one features a real butterfly wing preserved in clear resin and suspended inside a large brushed gold hoop, topped with a small gold disc connector. The wing floats freely inside the circle, catching light and shifting in color and pattern as it moves.
The butterfly wings are ethically sourced from butterflies that died naturally — nothing was harmed in the making of these pieces. Each wing has its own unique spotted pattern in warm amber and ochre tones, and because the wings come from different parts of the butterfly, the two earrings are intentionally asymmetrical — matched in design but individual in detail.
The oversized hoop gives these earrings a bold, modern silhouette while the resin wing inside keeps them grounded in nature. Lightweight despite their size, they move beautifully and sit comfortably all day.
